This months winners photo caught my eye a while ago. For whatever reason though I was never able to download it to my computer.

Last night I got back from Europe and with better internet and a different browser I finally managed.

So, congratulations Krista (K2gdub13) your 83 V45 Magna is August 2017's BOTM.

The lighting suggests early dusk, the bike is on the sidewalk, the photo not centered, jacket casually tossed over the back, helmet on the mirror, neon signs at right angles in the back round. I really like this shot for it authenticity. This is what our bikes really look like. Thanks for posting.

Edit: If any one here knows Krista could you give her a shout. I PM'ed her a month ago when I could not post her pic but did not hear back. Thanks.

Michael & All,

You had to go back quite a ways for this one.

I helped her out a few times back in the day, but the last message I received from her was on 4/17/14 with nothing since. I recall that she was about to make a move about that time.

Seems as how it may be a dead end.

Best,

John

I remember her also. Hopefully she'll come back to get her congratulations.

I'd rather see a BOM with 50,000 miles than one with 5,000.

Hi John:

I did check (always do) and she was last on the Board 08/06/17. I try to make sure BOTM winners are active on the Board before posting. I'll send her another PM and see if she responds.

Stretch:

I'm with you.

The last I heard from her she was riding a BMW.  I still have her horns off the Magna after I repaired them.

I agree, a nice, clean 50,000 mile bike beats a garage queen...
