Though this is an old post, its an interesting post as I somehow managed to miss it.

I do like thoughtful and useful mods to our older bikes that make them more functional and more rideable out on the road. There are plenty of Museum pieces out there that spend their life in the garage, trailer or bike show. There are also guys who want to ride these older bikes, sometimes for weeks and long distances, and just have to come up with a way to make it happen. Anyone who knows me, knows I am one of those guys, So this was an easy choice.

Congratulations underdoug, you weren't here for long, but you had quite an interesting 83 Interceptor.

If you read to post, like me you will realize the owner never answered the question of where the bags came from, nor their mounting details. So be the first to correctly identify the bags, and Lord it over the rest of us...........:)

I've googled all of my guesses on those bags and have nothing.

Well done!
I love all motorcycles.  Especially if they're a Honda.
