Thank you. It's been blood, sweat and tears, but worth it.

Just for the record, I have recently polished the engine and chromed parts so they look much better than on the above photos. I will add more photos that show this within too long.

Wow...I never dreamed my bike would get this honor from the board. You made my day for a long time to come, that is for sure. This bike still has to have some improvements done, but the engine is super good. It is true  it has been a long and arduous fight to get my Super Magna running as well as it does. During difficult times I remember Henry Ford's saying: "Whether you think that you can, or that you can't, you're right." His words are indeed true. On another note, my knee has happily improved, I hardly use the crutch any more. So once more guys, I really thank you from the bottom of my heart for always being positive and supportive. Best regards to you all.

Bike of the Month / April 2024 Bike of the Month
Last post by FromMaine - April 07, 2024, 10:15:53 AM
Sorry for the delay this month, was overseas for 3 weeks only to arrive just before a whacking April NorEaster.

Managed to get my wife to Maine after a day or so, I got stuck in Portland for 3 days, my daughter in Boston for a day. It took a while to unravel.

So, I guess this months theme is about Perseverance, and this winner certainly has shown some. A long time owner of his bike in a country that never imported them he has managed to keep it together somehow through determination and lots of help from Board members here. He also managed to repaint it in a FromMaine approved non OEM color. :)

Having been to where he lives I will say the bike is in far better condition than most for its age and environment.

Go to off topics if you want to read about his physical struggles recently.

Congratulations V45man1988, your 1988 Super Magna, in a very pleasing Blue, is April 2024's BOTM.
