Available for only one year in the US, this months winner is one of those bikes that I think all of us would would liked to have owned at some point of our riding lives. Classic Honda 80's color scheme, looks that convey speed and power, fit and finish that Soichiro would be proud of.
Like any one year bike (Europe got a few years and an FII model) buying one signs you up for a level of commitment maintenence and parts wise not found on multi year models, and that is no small thing. So tip of the hat to all of you, regardless of make,1000f17 (1).jpg who choose to take these bikes on.
Congratulations sixdog, your 84 VF1000F is May's BOTM.

This is certainly a classic bike. Congratulations to the owner. I would like to try one of these. These bikes wrote history, for sure.
Dang that's a purdy one!

That is a thing of beauty! I really like the lower faring, really like. It was so popular that they came back with the color scheme 25 years later. That 16" front wheel made it want to go faster through the corners. Man they are fun. Yours is well deserving of Bike of the Month!
I second everything Mike H. said except adding that they weren't built for a 6'4" pilot. It was definitely a fun bike but after 5K miles I decided I wasn't built for one and moved on.
Would it be wrong to call this kind of bike a cafe racer?
