This months winning bike was one I wanted for a long time. More for its stunning good looks than its cutting edge tech for its time.
I finally managed to buy one, then another.
About 10 years ago, I rode one of them from Maine to California and back. It was one of the best things I have ever done on two wheels.
These bikes are surprisingly good all rounders. Well at least according to me. 😁😁
So congratulations VF1000RS (Tom) your 86 VF1000R is Jan. 2025's BOTM. I have to say I don't know anyone who does these bikes better justice when restoring them. For those of you who may not know one of Tom's VF1000f's was featured in Practical Sportbikes, a UK bike magazine.

Great pick, Michael.
He has made some of the coolest bikes on the planet even cooler. And I agree that these are excellent all arounders. I rode one a couple of times and wasn't overly impressed until I rode Brads (now in Michaels garage) from an SGT. After 500 or 600 miles I really started enjoying it.
Congrats, Tom.

Gorgeous bikes! Excellent choice!
Having restored a number of V4s I can really appreciate Tom's work. His bikes make mine look like I just took a pressure washer to them and called them restored. Tom goes all the way with his projects. I love seeing his work.
Great choice Michael, Tom is very deserving to have his work featured in this forum.
