I've come across this bike before while looking for BOTM's, and kept it in the back of my mind.

To be honest, I had to look twice before I realized it was a Honda V4, but, it is a good example of a time and place bike.

Quebec in general and Montreal in particular leans heavily on the Cruiser bike model, lots of chrome, tassels, raised bars. etc. The riding gear closely follows the look of the bikes. That's the culture there, and has been since I first rode up into Quebec in 76.

Since its August, and Maine is now awash in aforementioned Quebecois riders, it seems fitting that this months winner should reflect that.

So, Congratulations alofano, (Andy), your 84 V45 Montreal Modified Magna is August 2023's BOTM.

Have to say, I like that color on a cruiser.

That machine looks like it actually came from the factory that way.

Well done!

I love all motorcycles.  Especially if they're a Honda.

V4's are fun!

Lots of tassels! Kind of reminds me of a stripper I represented many many long times ago💃. Nicely modded Maggie. 👍

This bike definitely deserves to be a bike of the month. I recently changed the color of mine to a blue shade similar to this. Congratulations.
