Well its always nice to get new members involved with the Board.

Especially ones who like to work on their own bikes.

Both those boxes get checked by this months winner.

So Congratulations Radioguylogs (Mike) your 1985 V65 Magna is Jan. 2022's BOTM

Yes sir, I am.

My other bikes were badly neglected when I acquired on them, so I went through all the hydraulics, rebuilt the front forks, replaced the bearings, replaced the tires, clean the gas tank, rebuilt the carbs, polished all the aluminum, etc.

This bike was so much nicer when I started, and the PO was a mechanic, so I haven't done all of those things yet. It would be a shame to polish the aluminum because it still looks decent with the OE finish - it's more valuable in the original condition.

Also, the tires aren't new.

But I think I will be OK for SGT.

Can't wait!
