Sorry for this months delay in naming March's BOTM. Once again it was ship/location related as our internet went from bad to worse as we were on the edge of our Satellite coverage. You guys who live ashore don't know how good you have it  ;)

This months winner did what I've been asking and pleading our members here to do, simply take a picture of your bike and post it in the Gallery Section. What he posted though was a pretty rare sight. Rarer than a Politcian with a concience, even rarer than a Harley with stock pipes with an owner who realizes that riding is a passion for owners of all makes, not just those with a brand infatuation. Yes I'm talking about the Unicorn of the motorcycling world, the "freshly washed Sabre".

Congratulations Shaker, your "Freshly washed 1984 Sabre" is March 2014's Bike of the Month.

CONGRATULATIONS!

Your bike is in deed worthy in my eye as well as our host it seems not that I have anything to do with the selection of course. Just this once I happened to guess in line with Michael.

Shaker, you have kept this one in a really nice condition and I commend you for keeping it in great shape.

This to me is what it is all about.

Best Regards,

John

Shaker,

I've waited long enough before asking for more images because I hoped someone else would.

I think that we should be able to see more than just this on image of your fine machine.

Getting the wife/girlfriend to pose would be a double plus or the neighbors daughter.  :rolling: Just kidding of course I am. Though it would be nice to see other sides and angles even if they expose flaws. We can accept flaws easily on these old machines.

Again, congratulations on your award,

John

Hum,

This is just an odd thought on my part, but if this fine sabre might have been available to Dutchy before he bought the ST.....

I do wonder....

The Dutchy

Nah... Like I said, the engine spins backwards when the wheels move forward... That just doesn't sound right..

I guess the fixed it with the ST by turning the engine 90 degrees horizontal..

That sounds great right know... From standing up, I'm gonna put my body in a 90 degree angle from vertical to horizontal right now..
