My first V4 was a V45 Sabre, I'll always have a soft spot for them.
Congratulations Zarticuc (Gary) your 1983 VF750S is March's BOTM.
I know you sold it, but its a good looking bike.

Wow !, That was a surprise out of nowhere & I'm honored to win a 3rd time . It was a total turd when I bought it & took a lot of work, Parts & Time to get it to run good & look presentable. I'm going to get my hands on a V65 Sabre one of these days & make it a keeper. I'm glad to have been able to save another Honda V4 from the bone yard. The new owner is enjoying it. Thank you Mike for picking me this month. Am I the 1st "3 Timer" ?

Very well deserved. Thanks for putting a smile on some ones face with a nice vintage Sabre to tool around on.
Technically, Raymond is a 3 time winner. He chose though to share his last trophy with his son, Noah, who helped him with his last winning bike. His profile notes he is a 2.5 BOTM winner :).
Beautiful bike...
Congrats
nice looking bike..congratts
Congrats Gary. That is a very nice Sabre that should be listed here.. :thumb

This is true... I used my beltsaw to cut the trophy in halve.. I got the front end and Jr. got the back... ;D
3 timer, mathematically not 3.0 timer.. So 2.5 and 0.5 are rounded to 3 and 1. So mathematically we got 4 out of 3.. That's very positive..
Anyway, I love this topic and hope that Michael continues this topic for years to come.. It's not about the number because:

Nice example! :thumb Gary, my first V4 Honda was a 1982 V45 Sabre. Black. I used to love going out and running interchanges at death wish speeds dragging the pegs back in the days when I was immortal. Laid it down a time or 2 so ended up with a set of F1R mufflers on it. Really wish I had the red color though. I sold mine when I moved to an apartment without a garage and no place to keep it except outside all winter.
Nice looking bike there Gary!! Congrats!
I too have a soft spot for the small sabre. I've had a couple 700's, never a V45. In fact one of the nicest looking bikes I've ever had was a 700S. They are a lot of fun, I still say in a tight section of road I can stay with a big sabre on a 700. Once the road opens up its a different story.
