Sorry for the delay, I was without an internet connection for 3-4 days.
This months winner has been on the Board for quite a while and if you look at his bike you realize he really paid attention when hanging out here. As a professional mechanic you would expect his bike to be sound and safe, but the darn thing also looks better than factory new. I still cannot believe these pics when I see them.
Congratulations Earl Vincent, your 83 V65 Pearl Siren Blue Magna is June 2013's Bike of the Month.

I'll have to send the trophy when I get back from Europe the beginning of July.
Gotta wear shades to look at that bike.
Congrats Earl. Couldn't happen to a nicer guy!
And now the hi beam works too. Nice job EV
Awesome bike! Congrats, Earl!
Congrats Earl!!
Thanks to all of you on the board for the help and support I have been given and what it takes to restore one of these Classics.
Special thanks to Michael for doing this thread to begin with, there are more than enough great looking V4's here to keep him busy with this post for a long time.
I am thankful to be in such great company to be recognized for my efforts(labor of love) that we all share restoring our bikes.
I have said it before, this will probably be my last frame up due to my back problems and whatever goes along with getting into the old fart category but my wife and many of you here know I am BS because I said the same thing three bikes ago ;D
Thanks to all again !
Earl
Very nice, Earl.
You've inspired me to spend cupla hours today on my '83 'Ceptor aka Pandora' Box... ;D
Earl, Mike and All,
In my perspective this is one of the machines that I thought would be on the short list and Earl clearly deserves the credit it imparts.
I, and others I'm sure have learned from Earls efforts and posts.
I salute you for this and though I doubt that you are done with the restorations I understand the age thing creeping up on us.
I for one would like to see more images of this work of art even if you have to hire a photographer to get it captured well. I think it is that good and deserves this treatment.
John
Love the shots in the sun rays! She's a beauty for sure!

Congrats Earl :thumb
Congrats. O0
Nice job Earl! It's a labour of love with your baby being the result of all your effort.
I like John and others, would definitely like to see some other pictures of this machine. :thumb  :thumb
Congrats! Very nice work Early
Congrats EV, well deserved tenof10
very nice. congrats!
Nice work, well deserved. Congrats.
Thank you all for the kind comments!
I happen to have a free lance photographer that works next to me as a auto technician, its funny as it started as a hobby for him and now he has a growing business doing weddings and parties so I think he will be able to do the Maggie justice,
I have never been to great with a camera and am the first to admit it, he said the first nice day when I have her cleaned up he will take some quality shots.
thanks again!
Earl
Earl,
+1

John

Received my Trophy yesterday Michael, thanks again for taking the time and effort to make us feel special!
Earl
Gorgeous bike! Looking forward to the 'Beauty Shots' by the pro! Earl, I looked at your pics and wonder if you undercut the gears when you went through the tranny?
Tim
Fast by Gast in NY did all six gears. Think it was $495 + shipping at the time IIRC.
Their price has a lot to do with the condition of the core you send, I have one with them right now that they called me with an estimate of $695 due to having to weld some of the dogs cut and harden. I am sending them another core that is in better condition.
