I had one back in the day and, being young and foolish removed and sold the fairing and back rest to get a "cleaner" look. One of the many poor choices I made in my youth.

The VF750S with the Sport fairing makes a pretty good 2 up tourer. I added Krauser Star bags (with rack) and a home-made backrest for the pillion attached to the rack. Tent, 2 sleeping bags, back packer stove. Made it from Iowa through the Upper Peninsula, Onterio, Quebec City, to Acadia, then Niagra Falls, Ontario, Michigan, and Illinois. The hairiest part was the road construction in Algonquin Provincial Park.
