I'll never forget the first time I saw a V4. It was in 1989. I had just gotten home from being overseas for 2 years and decided to take a walk downtown to reacquaint myself with the area.
There it was parked in front of the local store, a fully dressed V65 Sabre with Quebec plates. I spent a few minutes having a good look at the bike and decided I was going to own one, one day. I hung around town for 2 hours hoping the owner would show up, but left with my questions unanswered. I did finally buy one 17 years later, and in 2011 took my daughter cross country on it. It is a truly under appreciated road bike.
So, congratulations erikanderson, your 1984 V65 Sabre with all the toppings is June 2018's BOTM.

Congrats Erik,
The VF1100 Sabre reminds me of a member on a local board in Holland. The guy bought himself a nice fully faired Sabre but didn't like the fairing and wanted his version naked..
Het dumped the fairing, brackets etc into the trashbin.. :bash:
Congrats on your Sabre
Congrats

A Big Congrats. I haven't been on and 1100 Sabre. Maybe someday. The faring would be a nice touch :thumb  :thumb
