This months winner is still one of my favorites.

Great, great road trip bikes. A ton of power all over the rpm band, 6th gear to smooth out high speed cruising, enough height and heft to plant on the road while soaking up the bumps.

Hard to believe they are just shy of 40 years old today.

So, congratulations cloudbreakmd, your 84 VF1100S is March's BOTM.

A few tweaks like widening the rims and making the front a 17" and adding modern off the shelf suspension would make these great new bikes today.Sabre_left_side_.jpg

That is a good looking bike. Yes, they are great road bikes. They have an appeal all their own, never be the belle of the ball but will always be the one you want to go out with.

Love these sweet Sabres.  Thats the bike that started my v4 love affair.

Congrats!

I love all motorcycles.  Especially if they're a Honda.

How anyone can say the Magna is a better looking bike after seeing a Sabre like this is beyond me!

I shall take cover under the table for a while now  ;)

Excellent pick, Michael! Man! What a beauty!

A big Sabre is very happy running at or near triple digits all day on the interstate. Too bad there's a law against it.
V4's are fun!

Very good. These bikes were not as common as the Magnas if I remember correctly. Great job.
