Its always nice to read about someone who finally completes the circle and comes back to find the bike they once owned or lusted for.
This months winner is a member of that club.
Congratulations Walt, your (3rd) 84VF1000F is October 2017's BOTM.

Wow, I'm honored. Thank you.
I hope to have #2 on the road (finally, after 3 years!) within 2 weeks. Just in time for winter lol Good thing the paint on it is not very good.

Congratulations!
Not many have had the pleasure of riding one of these. Honda knew they were onto something special when they came out. A one year only bike presents some challenges when it comes to repairs and maintenance but when you're done you have a bike that not many other people have.
Congratulations, Walt. I love the bike and almost had one about 6 months ago. :thumb  :thumb
Raymond, I love the grey bike in the second pic's I've never seen one of those here. Anyone else? :???:

The full fairing grey and the burgundy red were the factory colours on the VF1000FII. Mine is currently a red model, but I have a fulle grey set on the side. One day I will swap these, because I'm also liking the grey version..
Another difference on the VF1000FII is the 18" front wheel which makes the handling of the bike way more comfortable compared to the 16" models..
That 2nd FF in black/grey/white is a good looking bike- is it stock or a custom? And does it have different front and rear wheels?

It's funny...I originally wasn't a fan of the 80's fairings on the interceptors, but after seeing beautiful examples like your bike Walt, I think I've done a 180. If you ever feel like passing that bike on... ;D
Awesome...Intereptors are near and dear to my heart...beautiful bike sir!
Congrats Walt! Having owned a couple of these I can attest to the great fun they are to ride! Ask Hunter since he has one of the ones I used to own. He does awesome things on that bike like I could only have dreamed about. +++ :thumb :thumb
And late Geoff Johnson won the Isle of Man TT in production bike class with VF1000FII :thumb
