I saw this months winner back in 2012 when the owner was gracious enough to have me and my daughter stop by his house so I could do an oil change while we were going cross country. It was, and still is one of the nicest Magna's I've ever seen.

When BOTM started up again, I meant to include it as one of the early winners, but I couldn't find a picture of the darn thing. It kind of bugged me, so a few weeks ago I asked the owner if he could post up a few pics, which he has.

Congratulations Doug, Wstar 42.5 your 1986 V65 Magna is Novembers Bike of the Month.

Doug,

Congratulations, well deserved as I see it.

It certainly warrants the award bestowed upon it.

We've had a near miss or two on meeting in the past when you were trucking through my town.

If this happens again, I'll make the necessary adjustments to my life to meet you if you are near enough for a meet-up. I'm sure we would have a fine time.

Thanks all. I bought it looking like that, without the backrest. Didn't run right from sitting too long. Carbs went to Billy C. Actually, it was my wife's bike but ended up being a little too much for her. She now rides a Star Raider!!??!!

John, I no longer go to Kaliforniastan. Stay 500 miles or less from home, ironically I seem to be home less somehow. We are done riding for the year, time for the sleds.

Enjoy your riding those of you that live in warmer climes.
