These bikes are just iconic now, a snapshot to when Honda absolutely ruled the engineering and innovation side of motorcycling (IMO).

Plus, I meet a LOT of former owners who are Jonesing hard that they ever sold theirs, so I like to sprinkle them in to BOTM from time to time.

I like the picture also, no glory shot, just a clean white stucco wall with a door in the background. The bike stands out on its own. Simple, pleasing.

Congratulations tomcat2626, your 85 Vf1000R is June 2023's BOTM.

If you have gotten this far and read the discussion about a mythical VF1100R LE, and have any knowledge of such a thing (Attn: Raymond.......:+) please post something on the Main discussion thread.

I'm in the Jonesing group, but I count that as lucky to have owned one.

I spanked a lot of younger riders on faster bikes with this.  Still rates as the most engaging motorbike I've ever owned.

Great pick, Michael!

Congrats, Tomcat!

I love all motorcycles.  Especially if they're a Honda.

Excellent pick Michael and very nice example Tomcat. I too am a member of the Jonesing group as well. I really liked my 1985. Scary fast under hard acceleration.
