I love all motorcycles.  Especially if they're a Honda.

I didn't think they got Magnas in Finland. Weren't they called Customs?

Either way, that's a nice ride!

Bill:

You are correct, they never got the Magna, nor the Sabre either. Not sure about the Interceptor.

I'll add this in here just so there is a copy of it some where. It shows a Northern Europe division, but pretty sure that was Denmark, Sweden and Norway.

Hi,

thank you, this was really nice news to get in the middle of our darkest time of the year! The Magna has changed during these couple of years to original looks. I actually got a museum registration for it last year. This means that it is officially registered as an "old timer" vehicle. You can get this status if your vehicle is at least 30 years old, and in an original condition. There can be signs of normal wear, so it doesn´t have to look like new. But in a good shape of course. There are certain official inspectors who are allowed to check the bike and to decide if it is museum or not. Now I have to pay for insurance only about 40 euros per year. Normally the insurance would be quite a lot more here in Finland. And it is of course nice to have such status on my Magna!

Hi,

thank you! I try to attach pictures of the tires, hope I can get them. The front tire is Michelin Commander II size 110/90, and the rear tire is Michelin Commander II size 150/80. I think they are quite good tires to ride. And you are right, I use tire paint! I think it gives finished, somehow "hot rod" -looks to the bike. It´s not a big thing to do, but it affects surprisingly lot in my opinion. I´m thinking that I may have used the paint little bit too much, maybe 3 or 2 things white would be enough...
